Community Work

Dedicated to Helping Hamilton for Over 35 Years

11x Award Winning Hamilton Lawyer and Law Firm

Rebecca Wissenz has been fighting for the best interests of Hamiltonians through her law practice in Hamilton for over 35 years, though she’s been deeply involved with her community since long before becoming one of Hamilton, Ontario’s most esteemed Personal Injury lawyers. To that end, she has been awarded the Hamilton Community News Readers’ Choice Awards over a dozen times, primarily in the categories of Best Lawyer and Best Law Firm – Personal Injury.

Throughout her life, Rebecca has been a forceful advocate for a wide variety of causes near and dear to her heart. She has served at the helm of charitable committees, such as the Women in Law’s Build in partnership with Habitat For Humanity and the Scleroderma Society of Ontario, as well as other community-building boards like the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and the Green Belt Council, where she advocated for small businesses and their owners.

Currently, she is the President of the Tiger Town Council, which serves as an advisory committee to the Hamilton Tiger Cats, and remains an avid supporter of the Scleroderma Society of Ontario among other charitable organizations and efforts, such as fundraising for Bob Kemp Hospice and the Survivor’s Fund. The following is a timeline of Rebecca’s various community involvement endeavours and professional associations, spanning her career.
